The Renfrewshire Wide Credit Union offers members much more than financial services. It provides members the opportunity to own their own financial institution and helps them create opportunities, aiming to give members greater flexibility in meeting their individual needs. Each member, regardless of account size in the credit union, may run for the board and cast a vote in elections. And as financial intermediaries, credit unions finance their loan portfolios by mobilizing member savings and shares rather than using outside capital, thus providing opportunities for generations of members.

Renfrewshire Wide Credit Union exists to serve its members and communities. As a not-for-profit cooperative institution, we will continue to work towards using excess earnings to offer members more affordable loans, a higher return on savings, lower fees or new products and services.

Vitally, we will continue to serve members from all walks of life, including the poor and the disenfranchised.
