All the administration of members’ accounts is done by the staff of Renfrewshire Wide Credit Union. All the employer needs to provide is free payroll deduction facilities and access to internal distribution networks for promotion of the service.
What resources are available to promote the Credit Union services to our mutual benefit?
We can provide you with handy leaflets/joining forms explaining how easy it is for employees to save regularly with the RWCU direct from their pay. Why not:
• Hand them out to all starters?
• Give them out with payslips?
• Place them on staff notice boards or leaflet racks accessed by employees?
Do you have Team Meetings, Briefings or other events for staff?
If so, maybe we could provide a short presentation to tell colleagues what the RWCU has to offer. 10-15 minute talk with slides, plus time for questions is ideal, or a more general awareness-raising event within your organisation.
Would you like a Roadshow?
We could put on a roadshow-type event, possible over lunch time, that staff can “drop in” to. Credit Union staff/volunteers would chat informally with colleagues, provide leaflets and help with joining forms.
