Membership
To comply with the Financial Services Authority and money laundering regulations the credit union is required to receive the following information from you when you apply for membership.
That you:

Live or work within the Renfrewshire area

Complete a membership application form
Provide proof of identity i.e.
-
Birth certificate
-
Passport
-
Notice of tax coding
-
Notice of benefits
Provide proof of address i.e.
-
Utility bill within the last 3 months
-
Bank statement within the last 3 months
-
Council tax demand
-
Mortgage statement
You will also need to:

Pay the £3 annual membership fee
-
Pay £5 in to activate the account
Each member is issued with an individual membership number. Receipts are given for each payment to shares or loans.
